Derby County players celebrated winning their first ever Football League Championship with an impromptu jam session at Calla Millor in Spain in 1972. |
The Assembly Rooms, on the opposite side of the Market Place in Derby were rebuilt in 1977, replacing the 18th century building which was gutted by fire in 1963. |
Charlie George was the Rams player of the year in 1975-76 in his first season with the club after scoring a hat-trick against Real Madrid in a European Cup match. |
