Keily, Arthur
Derbyshire born Arthur Keily broke the English Olympic record with a time of 2hrs 27mins in the 1960 Marathon in Rome.
He continued running to an advanced age, and in 2004 won the Dame Thora Hird Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sport by a person over the age of sixty.
