Borrowash
Borrowash is located next to Spondon and Ockbrook on the outskirts of Derby.
It is an average sized village with numerous amenities. It has a family butchers, wedding dress shop, newsagents, a fish and chip shop, Chinese take away, library, jewellers, estate agents and a video shop, among others.
There is a reasonably sized Somerfield store in the centre of the village. There are a couple of pubs in Borrowash including the Nags Head and Noah's Ark (as pictured).
There is also a primary school in Borrowash.
