Derby Central School for Boys
In October 1958 Derby Central School for Boys moved from the Hall in Darley Abbey Park to Breadsall Hill Top and changed its name to Henry Cavendish. Next year 2008 will be the 50th anniversary of the move. Perhaps a reunion could be arranged for all the Centaurs who attended the School on Darley Abbey Park (1939-1958), Abbey Street (1930-1939), Hastings Street (1910-1930) and of course Henry Cavendish while it was a "Centaur" school.
