Derby Road, Borrowash - then and now

- History
The evocative picture of Derby Road, Borrowash, above left, was taken by renowned Victorian photographer F.W. Scarratt, capturing a time when the pace of life was gentler than today.
Was the man on the three-wheeler selling something? The Wilmot Arms is still there, as are some of the houses. Others appear to have gone. Can you fill in the missing years or tell us something about the older photograph?
