Help me trace history of vintage motorcycle
Hello,i am trying to trace the history of a motorcycle that belonged to my late stepson Mark Holmes.Mark lived in the Derby/Nottingham area for a number of years and when he died last September he left me his old BSA motorcycle (that he bought from A Gagg in Nottinhham)which i am trying to restore in his memory. The motorcycle is a 250cc 1954 BSA C11g maroon in colour,( although at the moment it is green & maroon with gold pinstriping) and bears the registration number FCH 497 and was delivered from the BSA factory to Ingles motorcycles on the 26th March 1954 so If anyone in the Derby area remembers this motorcycle or has any photographs, documents etc of it could they please get in touch.I can be contacted email (we live in Spain) at:bigal.gorman@gmail.com .Thankyou.
