Hilton
Hilton is a village not far from Derby situated on the old Derby to Uttoxeter road.
One of the oldest buildings in the village, Wakelyn Hall, is said to have been a stop off point for Mary Queen of Scots on her way to imprisonment at Tutbury Castle.
Hilton was also mentioned in the Doomsday book as belonging to Henry de Ferrers.
