Little Eaton Post Office - then and now
These photographs are a sad reflection on what has happened to small and rural post offices in recent years.
A thriving Little Eaton Post Office is pictured, left, in 1959, with its jars of sweets in the window, alongside advertisements for Typhoo tea, with Players Please and Park Drive being promoted over the door and on the wall.
The post office was moved to a new location in the Co-Op in 1998 leaving the former building in a sad and derelict state.
