Pictorial memories of Charles' 1981 visit to Derby
Many Derby folk still remember Prince Charles' last visit to Derby as a "bachelor boy" in February 1981, a few months before his marriage to Lady Diana Spencer. The trip included visits to the Madeley Centre, Hardwick School, Normanton, and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Shaftesbury Cresent. Here is our pictorial record of the event.
