Belper Town FC
Formed in 1883 Belper Town FC are a Unibond League One football team who play at Christchurch Meadow, in the shadow of the historic mill.
Christchurch Meadow has a capacity of 2,400 people with 500 seats.
The team are known as "The Nailers" as before the development of the towns Mill, the main industry in Belper was the Nail making industry based around the area known as "The Clusters".
Famous former players at the club have included former Derby County favourites Kevin Hector and John O'Hare and former Everton player Barry Horne was also a player at the club.
Belpers home kit has always been gold and black, and they are currently sponsored by the Treetops nursery.
The team have struggled in recent years in Unibond League One and are now managed by Andy Carney and Danny Hudson when former Chesterfield player Ernie Moss was sacked.
