St Peter's Street, Derby - then and now
Do you remember St Peter’s Street in the 1960s or earlier? Which were your favourite shops? Marks and Spencer and several of the others shops pictured above have, of course, moved since both these photographs were taken.
In fact, the street looks more deserted in the 1960s photo, top, than today. Perhaps, it was taken early in the morning or possibly on a Sunday.
