Talk:High Street, Ripley - then and now

You seem to have confused then and now photographs here. The first is from the top of Butterley Hill (by the Cock) and shows the old Red Lion on the right in the far distance. This places the Market Place and Town Hall to the left at the top. The later photo is clearly taken from the Derby end and shows the new Red Lion straight ahead in the far distance. The two shots cover streets that meet at the corner by the Red Lion but are not Then and Now of the same street. Posted by David Anson: david.anson@ukonline.co.uk
