Tennis - Erratics Lawn Tennis Club
ERRATICS LAWN TENNIS CLUB was an old-established Lawn Tennis venue situated within the boundaries of the Rowditch Recreation Ground close to the junction of Uttoxeter New Road and Uttoxeter Old Road on the outskirts of Derby. It was particularly known for its fine grass courts, secluded position and 'old-fashioned' atmosphere, but sadly no longer exists.
The exact year of its formation is not known, but it is believed to have flourished in the inter-war period. Does anyone have photographs or recollections concerning the club or its members? If so and you would like to share them, just click the 'edit' link on this page and begin writing.
